Service Underwriting was established in 1997 – originally as Service Policies at Lloyd’s and latterly operating as an underwriting agency. Service act for various insurers carrying out underwriting, processing, claims handling and auditing activities.

Service’s business is generated through a select number of UK intermediaries, focusing on high-quality and successful brokers. Their business specialises in the high premium sector of the UK private car market as well as small commercial vehicles, taxis and motor trade business.

Service’s targeted approach extends to a product range where they focus on small niches of business within each product.

The business is based in Tunbridge Wells with a claims office in Hove.
