The origins of HSBC Insurance (UK) Limited can be traced back to 1964 when they were trading as a Lloyd’s motor syndicate known as Corinthian Policies at Lloyd’s. The syndicate was acquired by HSBC for the commencement of the 1996-year and traded as Corinthian Insurance Company Limited. In 2006, Corinthian Insurance re-branded into the corporate identity of HSBC.
